An Anniversary in Devon

To celebrate our 4th wedding anniversary we tucked ourselves up in this heavenly corner of Devon.  Having done shepherd's hut holidays before, excitement levels were high but nothing prepared me for the awesomeness of shepherd's hut cosiness with the ability to walk around one's abode upright.  I'm completely converted.  It rained the whole time, of course, but we had a log burner, of course.

Warning - these pictures are half Fuji, half Kodak, full of major light leaks and should be viewed with a pinch of salt (or sunglasses).

Do you know what, I was very surprised by the size of the giant - I had envisaged him to be much bigger.  But size isn't everything eh?  And it didn't dampen a glorious romp (sorry, couldn't resist!) across the hills...

The frosty seas of Britain

We've just got back from a weekend's camping (more photos involving woodland nymphs and flower crowns coming soon).  Yesterday afternoon was spent at the beach, bathing in the freezing cold sea.  It fed my soul...

Ben & Sarah [wedding]

This was an awesome wedding to kick of 2013.  It rained and rained and rained all day long (well, actually not in the morning - which makes for some odd looking early venue photos!) but it didn't stop everyone from smiling, laughing and boogying their little buts all the way to midnight.
