BBQ Time...

Happy Monday all.

With sunshine and warmth at last looking a potential, this weekend brought with it the first BBQ of the year.  It was burgers galore (and buffalo one's at that).

An awesome start to the season - thanks guys!

May Sailing ...

My family and I spent last weekend on the water and a splendid weekend it was for it too!  I, of course, took the camera and spent a good portion of the weekend snapping.

Before I begin I shall introduce you to Captain Maurice.

(Quite the looker, don't you agree.)

Day 1 was still and calm with no wind.  That meant mostly relaxing with the vino.

And soaking up those beautiful rays.

After so much dreariness of late, the blue skies were heavenly.

Day 2 saw a good bit of breeze, so it was time to gear up and step up to the wheel.

Daisy was glad when we got back to shore though.

Big congratulations to Paulo who passed his initiation with flying colours.  While I promised not to post those photos up, here's him contemplating his weekend of many firsts.

Of course, feel free to heck out my website www.hannahcouperphotography.com

 A weekend to remember.

Sneak Peek @ Sarah & Ben ...

I had the pleasure of photographing a beautiful wedding in Somerset last weekend.

The lovely couple enjoyed a day full of boules, bunting, maypoles, welly wanging & hog roasts as the event took on a summer fete theme.

The groom was ravishingly handsome in tweed.

The bride, of course, looked beautiful.

As did the bridesmaids.

And the happy couple together were simply stunning.

We had great fun with some group photos.

More fun with a prop shop.

And once the dancing began, there was no stopping those groovers.

All in all, an awesome day.  Thank you Ben & Sarah for letting me shoot what will no doubt remain the best day of your life for many years to come.

Welcome!

Welcome all.

This is, very simply a place to store my memories.  And to kick us off are my 'Top 3' from the year so far.

1. First up is one that just scrapes into 2012 - by about 10 minutes!  People are always talking about how New Year's Eve has the potential to be such a let down.  My last 5 have all been awesome.  That's down to good friends (and lots of wine) ...

2. Next up is a photo of two great friends of ours on their wedding day.  It perfectly captures their characters.  My first winter wedding, it was a white one - they couldn't have wished for a better day.

3. And finally, here are two more great friends.  It was her birthday and her lovely boyfriend gave her a cake-face.
